VESTA Supplies: Picnic in the Park

Given the interesting year our industry has had, VESTA were delighted to have been appointed as suppliers of Audio & Lighting for Picnic In The Park, held at Trafalgar Park.

Project Manager Jon Roache had this to say on the event - “The brief was to provide Audio coverage for a large area of the lawn in front of the 100 sq/m LED screen. Due to social distancing measures, the event was only for a few hundred patrons. The area needing audio coverage would have usually seen a few thousand people. With this in mind we installed mixed d&b system with boxes from the T, Y, V and J series to provide even coverage throughout. In addition to this, the event ran into the evening so to light the house, surrounding foliage, car park and exit routes we installed a number of IP fixtures and site lights.

Jon also went on to say “This was an exciting project to be involved with, and whilst outdoor cinema was new to us this year, we look forward to providing more similar systems and events in the future.”
